The Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, took to his Twitter page to congratulate former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, over his court victory today.
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos had discharged and acquitted the former aviation minister of any corruption charges.
Fayose in his congratulatory tweet said that Fani-Kayode is a dogged fighter like himself.
It will be recalled that Fani-Kayoe whose trial began in 2008 was arraigned by the EFCC for allegedly laundering about N100 million while he was minister of Culture and Tourism and subsequently, aviation minister.
