Boko Haram Bombs Two Mosques In Gubio, Borno State

Boko Haram suspects have reportedly attacked two mosques in Gubio town of Borno state killing scores of people.
According to Daily Post, the terrorists came before the evening prayers on Tuesday, October 6, and planted explosives in the mosques.

Musa Mohammed, a vigilante leader in the area, disclosed they had not managed to detain anyone in connection with the assault.

He further said the death toll could not be specified so far. Musa and some of his members, who came to capital Maiduguri to report the incident, also brought several badly injured victims to the hospital. He added:

“When we go back we would count the number of corpses and victims and we would give it to the medical workers for your reports.”

Official information is yet expected on the matter.

On Wednesday the news broke that suspected Boko Haram terrorists bombed Damaturu, with one of the attacks carried out near a mosque.
