President Muhammadu Buhari and former vice president Atiku Abubakar attended together Jumaat Prayers in Statehouse, November 6.

This is contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by Femi Adesina, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity.

Earlier this day President Buhari received Board of Directors of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc.

The leader of the nation yesterday opened two-day retreat for his ministers-designate, charging them to deliver change for Nigerians.

At the first prayers in National Mosque after being elected as a president Buhari was represented by former VP Abubakar.

Jumat prayer was the part of weeklong activities marking the commencement of the inauguration of a new president for Nigeria.

The formal oath-taking to swear in the new president took place on May 29, 2015.

President Buhari with former VP Abubakar and National Security Adviser Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (Rtd) as President Buhari is joined by Abubakar for Jumaat Prayers at the Statehouse on November 6.
