The Yobe State Committee investigating the Boko Haram raid on Federal Government College visited the site today.
The Federal Government College in Buni Yadi, a boarding school, was burned to the ground during a nighttime raid by Boko Haram on February 25. 29 students died, according to police.
The chairman of the Committee, Barrister Ahmed Mustapha said, "We visited the school and … discovered that some students missing, whose corpses could not be found.”
Mustapha added, "There are other missing students that we realized were burned beyond recognition. We were able to trace their identity after careful studying of the dormitories and knowing where students were sleeping."
The committee was set up by Yobe State Governor, Ibrahim Gaidam.
