It’s dubious to raise Bring Back Jonathan bill board close to us — Ezekwesili

Former Minister of Education and leader of #BringBackOurGirls advocacy group, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, has lashed out at the pro-Jonathan group for raising the BringBackJonathan bill- boards around the Unity Fountain in Abuja, describing their action as dubious and harsh to the spirit and rights of the missing Chibok school girls.

She stated this, Thursday, while reacting to the Presidential order that such bill-boards should be removed forthwith, during a street protest organised by the group in Abuja in demand for the rescue of the abducted school girls.

Ezekwesili, who frowned on the attitude of those fronting the move to silence them through hoisting of Pro-Jonathan’s banners and erasing of bill-boards, said such people ought not to have started the move if they had the feelings of the parents and relatives of the missing girls at heart.

She vowed that the group would remain committed and unshakable in its singular demand until the girls were freed and returned to their parents, adding that no amount of intimidation would cow them to go silence.

According to her, the group had decided to be the voice of the girls and their families who are nobody in the society.
Ezekwesili said:  “We are committed to our single focus ( #BringBackOurGirls). One thing we know is that rasing BringBackJonathan bill board the same place we (#BringBackOurGirls group) stay, is a harsh statement to the families of the Chibok girls and that for us is very dubious.

“Why will you do that when you have 219 girls you have not been able to rescue by designing a harsh tag, making a joke of the Chibok Girls?
“We have decided to move on with our demand and decided that we must continue until these girls are returned home. They must be rescued; we will not allow the voice for these
