President Goodluck Jonathan celebrates his 57th birthday with family members, friends and aides on Thursday morning.

Jonathan used the opportunity to assure Nigerians that the country will overcome her challenges.
“Though we face challenges, we will surely get over them. Let us live together, work hard together and pray together,” the host said.
The president in the company of his wife, Patience, and his mother, Eunice cut his birthday cakes.
Special prayers were made for the President, his wife, family members and Nigeria.
