Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law, Intersociety, has called for an end to the bloodletting in some parts of the country, noting that 631 Nigerians were killed in the month of July alone.
Chairman of Intersociety, a civil society group, Mr. Emeka Umeagbalasi in a statement, yesterday, added that so far, over 4, 749 Nigerians have been killed by the combination of Boko Haram and Funali herdsmen.
It said “In furtherance of our local and international campaigns for an end to ceaseless killings in northern Nigeria in the name of politics, ethnicity and religion, it is our shocking discovery that the insurgency under reference has led to the criminal death of at least 631 citizens in July 2014 alone.
