Nigerians Blast MI For Calling Femi Fani-Kayode A Joker

A musician Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI, has criticized Femi Fani-Kayode over his recent statement, in which he noted that the federal government would be responsible if anything happened to kidnapped Chief Olu Falae.
The former secretary to the government of the federation was abducted on Monday, September 21, from his farm in Ilado village in Ondo state by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Fani-Kayode described the abduction as not “unacceptable and exceptionally dangerous”and ordered the federal government to rescue Chief Olu Falae.

However, MI, who was obviously not pleased with Fani-Kayode’s position, addressed the former minister of aviation through his Twitter handle, by saying:

“You, Mr FFK, are a joker. Instead of being prayerful and hopeful for a statesman’s life, you are making threats against our government”.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have strongly supported Fani-Kayode’s call to the government and commended him for not being afraid to speak his mind.

In their reactions people advised the rapper to “face his music” instead of getting involved into politics.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Chief Falae’s family, friends and other concerned Nigerians that the federal government will do everything in its powers to ensure his quick release.
