Boko Haram kill 10 in Cameroon raid

Boko Haram Islamists killed 10 people, including two soldiers, and torched several homes during a raid in northern Cameroon, security sources said Thursday.

Wednesday’s attack in the town of Blame, near the Nigerian border, led to the deaths “of two soldiers from BIR (an elite army unit) and eight civilians,” a security source said.

David Mark To Testify At Election Tribunal

The Nigerian National Assembly Petition Tribunal has invited former Senate President, David Mark to testify in front of the committee on Thursday, August 18th 2015.

Forensic Audit, Contracts Review Underway At NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has concluded plans to conduct a forensic audit of the accounts of the state oil company and effect a fundamental restructuring to turn out a new NNPC in five months time.
The Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Emmanuel Kachikwu, who disclosed this, yesterday, in Abuja said the audit will cover 2014 and 2015.

Major part of the audit will include a review of all contracts with its joint venture partners and production-sharing agreements.
