Aisha Buhari Closes Beauty Shop In Kaduna

The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, has decided to close her spa and beauty institute which is the biggest in the country.

The beauty parlour, named Hanzy Spa and Hanzy Beauty Institute, is located along Camp Road, a high class area of Ungwan-Rimi government residential area in Kaduna state.

Aisha opened the beauty institute as the first of its kind in Northern Nigeria and it is a National Board of Technical Education-accredited vocational training centre, registered by the Ministry of Education with the aim of engaging youths in the emerging beauty industry.

N'Djamena (AFP) - A clash between Chad's army and Boko Haram on a Lake Chad island has killed four soldiers and 33 Islamists, a military spokesman said Friday.

"Boko Haram elements on Wednesday attacked our forces in Choua," military spokesman Colonel Azem Bermandoa Agouna told AFP, referring to an island on the lake in Chadian territory.
