Senator Sani Attacks Fayose Over President Buhari

Senator Shehu Sani, who represents Kaduna Central senatorial district, has blasted Ayodele Fayose, the governor of Ekiti state, for calling Muhammadu Buhari “president of Northern Nigeria”.

In a statement issued on Monday, August 31, Fayose strongly criticized the appointments made by the president so far.

According to the governor, the steps Buhari has taken since his inauguration are tainted in ethnic and tribal colouration, which is detrimental to the unity of the country.

Cardinal Okogie Advises Buhari To Dialogue With Looters

Cardinal Anthony Okogie, the former president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to invite suspected looters of the public purse to a discussion rather than publicly criticising them.

PORT HARCOURT — Former Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, has challenged his successor in office, Governor Nyesom Wike to publish the statements of government accounts with Skye Bank, FAAC, Zenith Bank and Access Bank, insisting that about N7.5 billion cash was left as balance in the state Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, as at May 29, 2015, alongside money in other accounts, totalling N8 billion.
