Reconciliation: Senate Leader Meets Tinubu Over APC Crisis

Senate leader, Ali Ndume met with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, August 26.

According to The Nation report, the main focus of the meeting was how to reconcile Senate President Bukola Saraki and members of the Unity Forum, led by Senator Ahmed Lawan.

Ndume, who is said to be leading a fresh initiative for reconciliation of all senators, who have been locked in a cold war since the June 9 National Assembly elections, had initiated the meeting.

NNPC Stops Crude Oil Delivery To Refineries

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has cancelled the delivery of crude oil to the refineries in Warri, Port Harcourt and Kaduna.

The NNPC also cancelled the Offshore Processing Agreements with Duke Oil Company Inc, Aiteo Energy Resources Limited and Sahara Energy Resources Limited.

Why construction of 2nd Niger Bridge may be put on hold for now - ICRC

The Managing Director of the Nigeria Sovereign  Investment Authority, NSIA,  Mr. Uche Orji, has expressed shock over the allegation by Edo State  governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, that N140 billion was spent on the consultancy for the Second Niger Bridge.

The MD disclosed in Abuja, yesterday, that only $2.21 million dollars (about N340 million, using the then exchange rate of N154/$1) was spent on the consultancy for that project.

this on-going controversy may put the construction of a Second Niger Bridge on hold until the integrity of the bridge is sorted out, the Federal Government said, yesterday.
