BBOG to sue FG, Oritsejafor; confirms where about of Chibok girl

The #BringBackOurGirls# campaign group, yesterday, said it has concluded arrangement to sue the President, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and the federal government over the $9.3 million cash found in pastor Ayo’s private jet in South Africa, that was claimed to be meant for the purchase of arms for the Nigeria government.

#BBOG# disclosed this in Abuja during its sit out, the group said there should be more public outcry on the issue.

A man, suspected to have attempted stealing diesel from a compound, died on Monday morning after he was electrocuted by an electric barbed fence.

Chat212 learnt that the suspect, Mr. John Aboy, was killed on Dagin Farouk Road, Jos, Plateau State. The incident was said to have taken place at about 3am.

Fayemi absent, Akinkunmi to earn life salary

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, his Kebbi State counterpart, Saidu Dakingari,   and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, were among persons who were absent when national honours were on Monday conferred on 313 Nigerians and friends of the country.

Fayemi, who was to be honoured with the Commander of the Order of Niger, did not send any representative to the ceremony where President Goodluck Jonathan announced the placement of the designer of the national flag, Pa Michael Akinkunmi, on a salary of a Special Assistant to the President for life.

No fewer   than 500 houses were destroyed in the Kubi and Watu villages in Michika Local Government Areas of Adamawa State as the suspected Boko Haram insurgents operated unchallenged in one of its recent attacks.

Ex-mint boss faces forgery, money laundering charges

►There were indications last night that former Managing Director of the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company, NSPMC, Emmanuel Ehidiamhen Okoyomon, might be extradited to the United Kingdom to face trial over the lingering polymer notes scam in Nigeria.

President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, yesterday for the first time spoke on the controversial $9.3m cash allegedly smuggled into South Africa by two Nigerians and an Israeli using his private jet.

 The money which has been confiscated by a South African court was meant for the purchase of arms for the Nigerian Intelligence Services. This is just as the #BringBackOurGirls# campaign group, has said it will soon drag the CAN president and the Federal Government to court over the money.
