PDP Supports Buhari’s Probe Of Corrupt Politicians, Urges Government Not To Be Selective

The Peoples Democratic Party supported the planned move by the All Progressives Congress to prosecute corrupt officials.

It should be noted that during his four-day visit to the United States President Muhammadu Buhari several times reiterated his commitment to probe the officials involved in public funds embezzlement. Saraki Explodes! What Happened Between Jonathan And I Over NNPC Missing $20bn

Senate President Bukola Saraki yesterday denied reports by an online news medium that he received bribe from former President Goodluck Jonathan to help him influence the alleged missing $20 billion from the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) account.

Saraki, who accused the news medium of smear campaign and acting the script of his sponsors, demanded a retraction of the story and an apology for the publication.

8 People Killed After Crisis Broke Out In Plateau

At least eight people have reportedly been killed after crisis broke out in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau state.

In the first attack, it was gathered that one person was killed while two persons sustained injuries Tuesday night, July 21, 2015, Leadership reports.

According to the report, a group of youths alleged to be from a Berom community stormed the house of a renowned politician, Alhaji Auwal Tanko who was recently nominated as a supervisory councillor by Governor Simon Lalong.

World Oil Tanker Association Threatens Buhari, READ What They Are Planning

The global oil tanker association has dared Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) over the ban on oil tankers.

The body, in a letter of protest, stated that a ban on 113 oil tankers by the NNPC must be lifted by the Nigerian leader immediately as no grounds have been given for the measure.
