Inscriptions on some of the placards read: ‘ stop disrupting our church services and activities, ‘Bishop Crowder Memorial Primary School is not government property among others. Addressing reporters yesterday , the leader of the priests and archdeacon of Onitsha South Archdeaconry, Ven. Josiah Chukwukadibia Ofoegbu, said, they were in government house to register their grievances over marginalization and politics of denomination being played by the state government under Obiano.

Why Amosun had come to Abuja


“Gov. Amosun had been coming to Abuja to pressure me to reserve what has been properly done and to accept what is clearly unlawful and undemocratic,” he said.

Rochas Okorocha disobeyed court order


The APC national chairman, however, debunked insinuations by Gov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo that he disobeyed court order on the state primaries earlier conducted where his son in-law Uche Nwosu was said to have emerged as the party’s 2019 governorship candidate.

“What I have not been able to do for Gov. Okorocha is to assist him with the instrument of APC, even as that will border on abuse of power on my side.

“And I do not have such powers to help him to create Rochas Okorocha political dynasty in Imo state in which he will be the APC Senatorial candidate and his son in-law, Uche Nwosu, the governorship candidate.

“I am convinced that this is where many of my friend governors tend not to understand me.

“If there is conflict between the known interest of the great people of Imo who have reposed confidence in us by voting us to power as they did in 2015, I will resist.

“I will resist every unlawful pressure to undermine the wishes of the good people of Imo and at this stage, the wishes of APC members in Imo who do not want a political dynasty, by the way they have voted,” Oshiomhole stressed.

Affidavit Buhari submitted to INEC


The lawyer is urging the court to declare that the sworn affidavit which Buhari submitted to INEC, stating that his certificate was in the custody of the Nigerian Army, was not enough.

Okhai is praying the court to declare Buhari’s sworn affidavit null and void, contending that “it could not stand as a substitute to President Buhari’s certificate or take the place of the evidence of President Buhari’s educational qualification as a requirement and condition precedent in INEC Form CF001.”

The lawyer wants the court to restrain INEC, which was joined in the suit as the second defendant, from allowing Buhari to contest in the election, having allegedly failed to meet the relevant requirements of the Electoral Act.

He is seeking a declaration that by the combined provisions of sections 31(1), 2 and 5 of the Electoral Act, Cap 15, 2010, Buhari, having failed to attach his secondary school certificate to the forms he submitted to INEC, was bound to be disqualified from the presidential race.

In an affidavit personally deposed to by himself, the lawyer said he recalled that Buhari made the same claim in 2014, while seeking to be elected as President, that his certificate was in the custody of the Secretary of the Military Board.

According to him, in response to Buhari’s claim, the Nigerian Army, through its spokesman, Brig Gen Olaleye Olajide, at a press conference held on January 20, 2015, stated that the Nigerian military was not in possession of Buhari’s certificates evidencing his educational qualification.

Okhai, in his affidavit, said he “reasonably believed that President Buhari has lied on oath where he claimed that his educational certificates are with the Nigerian Military Board.”

He urged the court to stop Buhari from contesting in next year’s presidential election.

The lawsuit, which was filed on Monday, has yet to be assigned to any judge and no date has been fixed.

The prospective candidate is expected to be proficient with UI/UX designing which will enable bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, as well as playing an active role on both sides to define how the application looks and works.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experience
Design and deliver user interfaces, using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Understand Agile methodology and best practice in UI / UX development Job Requirements
Technical Requirement Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and JQuery
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Experience in front-end JavaScript frameworks
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsiveness in design
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams
Experience working with different prototyping tools
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently

Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

B.Sc/B.A / HND in related fields
Minimum of 3 years post NYSC experience in Frontend development
Demonstrable and verifiable experience on UI/UX projects will be a plus.
