INEC Website Hacked And Restored

The official website of the Independent National Electoral commission was hacked by a group of individuals who identifed themselves as “TeaM Nigerian Cyber Army”  but after almost two hours down the website was restored.

When it was hacked, on opening the official INEC website which leads to the homepage, it will be noticed that the site has been taken over by cyberterrorists who mocked the security protecting the website.

Buhari Passes Verdict On INEC

Gen. Mohammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended the INEC for the smooth conduct of the presidential election so far. 

Buhari made this known to journalists in his ward in Daura, Katsina state, shortly after completing his accreditation at ‎the Sarkin Yara polling unit.

According to Daily Trust, the APC presidential candidate noted that rigging would be impossible‎ during elections if people are allowed to vote.

With few hours to go to the commencement of the first round of elections for federal office seekers in Nigeria, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was in the early hours of Saturday, March 28, 2015 caught with thumb-printed ballot papers en-route and unknown destination.



According to photos which have surfaced online, Basirat Ojugbele, the APC Woman Leader in Lagos West was reportedly caught in an unnamed area of the state at about 12:15am in charge of a bus with registration number FKJ 450 XJ by security operatives.
