The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti state has urged the National Human Rights Commission and the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Holland, to prosecute Governor Ayodele Fayose.
 According to The Punch, the party accused the governor of making inciting broadcasts on the state radio and television by urging his supporters into “an act of rage and violence” to attack the 19 APC lawmakers in the Ekiti State House of Assembly thus preventing the lawmakers from performing their constitutional duties.

Mr. Abba was sacked barely 24 hours after the government of the United States of America commended him for good conduct during the just-concluded general elections.

He was immediately replaced by Solomon Arase, a Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department.
