Jonathan seeks Sanusi's support for re-election

PDP National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu; President Goodluck Jonathan; Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi; and Vice President Namadi Sambo, during the Pdp Presidential Campaign Team’s visit to the Emir in Kano.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday visited the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, in his palace in a bid to get the traditional ruler’s blessing for his re-election bid.

He was in the city in continuation of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential campaigns.
The relationship between the two became strained last year when the President suspended Sanusi as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Gunmen attack Ekiti APC secretariat

Gunmen on Wednesday night attacked the Ekiti State secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Ado-Ekiti and destroyed the flags and posters of the party’s candidates.
