Chibok Parents Angrily Reacted To Army Report... Army Dashed Our Hopes

Parents of the abducted schoolgirls from Chibok community in Borno State, yesterday, reacted angrily to the announcement by the army that none of the abducted girls was among the 293 females rescued on Tuesday from Sambisa Forest by the troops.
This came as Amnesty International disclosed that more than 2,000 women are still in captivity of the terrorists.

Transition: Don’t take Jonathan’s magnanimity as cowardice, Jonathan’s men tell Buhari’s men

A disagreement has broken out between the transition committees of outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan and the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) as the President accused the Buhari team of acting like a parallel government and trying to stampede the Jonathan administration out of office.
Addressing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting, yesterday, Minister of National Planning who is also a member of the Jonathan Transition Committee, Abubakar Suleiman, said the Buhari transition team was making impossible demands from the government.

Buhari’s Ministerial Appointment – Yesterday disclosed Ministerial appointee in his cabinet... To be announced

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), yesterday disclosed that his cabinet would be announced very quickly within one week of inauguration; and that “Anyone with a whiff of corruption or any kind of taint will not be in the cabinet. Our manifesto will reflect zero tolerance for corruption”.

He however pledged to put an end to fuel subsidies, adding that the oil and gas sector would be reformed as a matter of priority in order to attract new investments.
