The House of Representatives on Tuesday drummed support for the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, to emerge as the President of the African Development Bank.

Lawmakers urged the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, and member countries of the Economic Community of West African States to push for the success of Adesina.

A motion, seeking support for Adesina, was moved by a member from Kano State, Mr. Munir Dan-Agundi.
