PDP to pick presidential candidate Dec.6

NATIONAL leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP disclosed yesterday that its presidential primary to nominate its flag-bearer for the 2015 presidential election will be held on December 6.

According to PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, the party’s National Assembly and governorship primaries will hold on November 22nd and 29 respectively.

Nightmare as fuel-laden tankers kill 3 in Calabar

Three persons were burnt to death, yesterday afternoon, when two tankers laden with petroleum products crashed into one another at the 146 Army Battalion gate, popularly called Welcome to Calabar, in the outskirts of Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
