Job Title: Principal Structural Designer
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
► To interface with and ensure that the cross discipline Engineer, Construction, Commissioning, Safety, Maintenance and Operational requirements are accounted for.
► To meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for all design deliverables. To provide technical assurance to the project that previous lessons learned have been captured and incorporated into the current design.
► Identify appropriate resources for engineering in accordance with agreed project plans.
Qualification and Experience
► 5-7 years in a similar role.
► Good understanding of construction requirements within the offshore oil and gas industry.
► Software: Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.
► Working knowledge of 3D modelling software,Tekla, PDS, PDMS is advantageous.
► Experience using Microsoft office.

► Developing strategies for negotiations in alignment with company objectives and leading negotiations for complex contracts. Review contract documentations.
► Settling disputes regarding contract interpretations, conditions or compliance with legal requirements.
► Leading contract/project reviews and the balance score card process
► Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to deal with unforeseen circumstances.
► Provide input support and feedback into the Commercial Level Agreements and other contractual based initiatives as contracts are underpinning and Operating Level agreements.
Qualification and Experience
► Degree in contract Management or any related discipline.
► 15+ years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
► Overseas and/or Africa work experience.
► Software: Computer literate - MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, Familiar with EMDS - Team Binder.

► Ensure that all Materials are of the correct quality, type, grade and size.
► Ensuring that materials required are available for training courses
► Ensuring that all fitting equipment is operational and safe for use.
► Ensuring that all fitting equipment's are fit for purpose and in sufficient quantity.
► Ensuring that all subordinate training school employees are conversant Fitter training syllabus.
Qualification and Experience
► OND in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering.
► Minimum of 1 year experience in Pipe Fitting.
► Strong Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to motivate trainees and apprentices.
