Chat212 - Power FM - Adamawa State Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria has come to the rescue of the seven-man investigative panel to probe Governor Murtala Nyako and his deputy, Mr. Bala Ngilari over alleged corrupt practices, by providing it with accomodation.
The panel which was constituted by the former Acting Chief Judge, Justice Ambrose Mammadi , whose, tenure elapsed last Tuesday had been facing the challenges of finding a venue for its sittings following its ejection by the management of the J&J Holiday Villa Hotel where it held its first sitting.
However, officials of the state branch of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, including its chairman, Mr Jeremiah Nkyekwar said he was not aware of leasing its secretariat to the panel.
Meanwhile, the panel which announced that it would commence sitting tomorrow, having served both Nyako and Ngillari with notice of hearing by pasting same on the entrance of the Government House, Yola.
