President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday said that contrary to widely held assumptions, he had no problem with Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.
Jonathan stated that Lamido is an outstanding Peoples Democratic Party governor, who has made the party and the country proud because of the monumental projects he has executed since coming into office in 2007.

The President said that he had no reason whatsoever to quarrel with the governor whom he describes as a man of his words. For all that, Jonathan said that Lamido should rather be commended and appreciated by all.
The president disclosed these in Dutse while commisioning the Dutse International Airport and at a meeting with Jigawa stakeholders at the Government House, Dutse.
According to Jonathan, Lamido is a man who does not speak from both sides of his mouth but keeps each promise made, recalling how he solidly stood by him to win the 2011 presidential election despite all odds.
“Sule Lamido is a man of his word. In terms of what people say frosty relation , sometimes it is issues of intepretations. I remember reading one book sometimes ago where one philosopher said the disagreement between people is caused when people use different words to describe different scenario or use different words to describe different things.
“That will cause primary disagreement which will begin to expand. In some cases where people have problems if you go deeply you discover that it is not really a problem but it becomes a storm when people begin to hear.”
