University of Lagos Holding Company (UNIHOLD) is looking to recruit a PA for the office of the General Managing Director.
The role of Personal Assistant to the GMD is to provide invaluable clerical and administrative support in order to assist and facilitate the efficient discharge of responsibilities attached to the office of the GMD.
Job Title: Personal Assistant to the GMD
RESPONSIBILITIES
► Provides a high level administrative support to the GMD in a proactive and effective manner.
► Manages an efficient diary system which requires a need to understand and take account of complex and competing demands/priorities/important engagements.
► Manages and following up task lists
► Takes and acts upon telephone messages
► Any other duties as appropriate to the level of the post.
► Works closely with the wider team to provide effective and flexible seamless support
► Ensures both visitors and new team members are well taken care of.
► Drafts and produces documents, briefing papers, presentations, and responses to correspondence received by the GMD.
► Takes minutes of meetings as required and prepares summarized draft minutes for GMD. Follow up actions on the Pastorate behalf.
► Works flexibly to support the GMD according to workload.
► Arranges travel and accommodation
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
►A first degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division
►Minimum of four (4) years relevant post qualification experience with at least two years’ experience as a Personal Assistant to a Senior Management position
