Radio Biafra’s “Hate” Messages Can Instigate Civil War II, Rwandan Genocide In Nigeria

Reactions Trail The Growing Popularity Of Radio Biafra

There are mounting concerns over the activities of a radio station promoting Biafra. The station, known as ‘Radio Biafra,’ operates from an unknown location with the frequency 88.0 FM.

The station which shows solidarity for the Biafra struggle is in mainly listened to by people in Rivers state.

The station has only one anchor who is referred to as Director, and he refers to the listeners as the Indigenous People of Biafra. Some unverified claims the director’s  name is Nnamdi.

Many observers have likened the the activities of the “Director” as that of the radio anchor that escalated the Rwandan genocide war.

He is also known to always castigate the Northern and Western region in Nigeria for what he describes as them “living fat on the resources of the Biafran people.”

Meanwhile, a group representing the interest of Igbos agitating for the realisation of Biafra, has received an invitation from global body, the United Nations (UN) to attend its next meeting in New York this month.
