SHOCKING REVELATION: Boko Haram Can End In 3 Months, Only If...

The former Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, has stated that it will be possible to end insurgency in the country within 3 month, but on certain conditions.

Daily Times reports that the Cardinal made a statement on August 31, Sunday, in Lagos while speaking with journalists at the 25th priestly ordination anniversary of Colonel Charles Iroegbu, a reverend father, at the Tamandu Barracks.

Commenting on President Muhammadu Buhari’s order to service chiefs to end insurgency in three months, Okogie stressed that some important factors should be considered to end the Boko Haram menace within the period.

“Three months will be possible provided that the equipment are there and functioning, if the soldiers are well trained and ready to fight,” he said.

Okogie noted that the insurgents were also human beings like everyone; therefore, they could be taken down with determination and prayers.

Isidore Edet, general officer commanding 81 Division, also attended the ordination anniversary. He congratulated Iroegbu saying that God would continue to bless him.

While thanking everyone for coming to celebrate with him, a reverend father confessed that he had never regretted joining the Nigerian Army, stressing that he was proud to be a soldier.
