Buhari, Dangote, Saraki, Land In Deep Trouble
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has allegedly confessed that he collected the sum of N5 billion from Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, to fund the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign, that saw the emergence of Muhammdu Buhari, as Nigerian President, in 2015.
This shocking disclosure came as the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo-led Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, launched into a detailed investigation, of how the Paris Club loan’s refunds were brazenly stolen by State Governors.
Speaking anonymously with SaharaReporters, on Thursday night, an EFCC Investigator, disclosed that the slush fund was approved by Buhari, before he traveled to London on an unending medical vacation.
The fund was then used to repay States that claimed the Federal Government had over-deducted Paris Club repayments from their monthly allocations over the years.
However, instead of using the money for paying workers’ salaries, Saraki and some top shots of the ruling APC, decided to convert it into slush fund that would be used ostensibly to refund some of the party’s original funders.
Saraki, also colluded with the Governors Forum, to send N5 billion out of the fund to multi-billionaire Businessman, Aliko Dangote.
The source added, that the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, had assisted the Governors Forum to have access to the fund.
