Chat212 - Correspondent Following the defection of 27 out of 30 members of the Sokoto State House of Assembly are from the Peoples Democratic Party - The Governor - Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko has pronounced the ruling party dead in the state.

Wamakko said with the defection, it was evident that the APC had gained ground among the people of the state, adding that the remaining three members of the Assembly, who opted to stay put in PDP, would not pose any threat to the popularity of APC in the state.

Fake Family show up For Claims - After the Madwoman gave birth at rubbish dump

Our Correspondent Learnt that - Some people showed up at the Lagos State Government secretariat on Wednesday, saying they were relatives of Amudatulai, the mentally ill woman who gave birth to a baby girl at a rubbish dump.

They were said to have brought pictures and some other materials with them from Ibadan, Oyo State on Wednesday to back their claims.
