New IGP vows to change attitude of police officers

THE newly appointed Inspector‑ General of Police, IGP, Suleiman Abba, yesterday, vowed that he would devote considerable energy to ensure that he changed the attitude of the rank and file of the Police.

Speaking, yesterday, when he paid a courtesy visit on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Senator Bala Mohammed, IGP Abba stressed that he would take measures to change the way Police officers relate with one another and the way they relate with the people they serve.

Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, today, declared that the Federal Government had no hand in the deadly attacks on former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, and Shiekh Dahiru Bauchi by Boko Haram insurgents two weeks ago.
