►Cameroon’s army has killed 27 members of terrorist group Boko Haram near a northern town, state radio said on Wednesday.

►The Boko Haram fighters were reported to have crossed Nigeria’s border into Cameroon earlier this week after attacking a military base and police station in Borno, north east Nigeria.

Man begins 3rd reconstruction of house in right-of-way

DESPITE the demolishing of buildings close to the Delta State Government Office Annexe in Warri on two separate occasions by officials of state Ministry of Lands and Survey, a property developer, (names withheld) has commenced moves to reconstruct his building for a third time on a-20ft right-of-way, Chat212 has learnt.

The developer’s renewed move is coming on the heels of efforts to fix the road and provide drainages on both sides by other property owners within the vicinity.

40 Killed in Renewed Fighting in Nasarawa

Not less than 40  people have been feared killed in a fresh fight between the Alago and Eggon people of Nasarawa State, yesterday, while over 50 houses were also set ablaze. The fight took place at Tudun Adabu in Obi local government area of the state.

An eye witness who was at the scene of the event said that the fight was initially between Eggon people and Fulani herdsmen in Assakio, headquarters of Lafia East development area of the state which later spread to Tudun Adabu, Wamba, Akwanga and Nasarawa Eggon local governments leaving scores dead and rendering thousands of people homeless.
