Tinubu Bows To Congratulate Buhari

It is no longer news that Rtd. Gen. Mohammad Buhari of the All Progressives Congress won the presidential election.

However, the APC chieftain and former Lagos governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is obviously over the moon because of the outcome of the election, was spotted bowing down to congratulate the president elect. See the photo below:

We should be celebrating rather than mourning, Jonathan tells PDP

President Goodluck Looking Calm and Unruffled after conceding defeat to his opponent at the 2015 Presidential Election
President Goodluck Jonathan has told his supporters and the Peoples Democratic Party to be celebrating rather than mourning because he has kept his word of ensuring a free and fair election.

In a message to the nation conceding defeat, President Jonathan reiterated that his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian.

With Buhari’s victory, I’ll surely go on exile... All we have been doing to restructure the country has been lost says Bode George

Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George says he may be going on exile following the victory of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Maj-Gen Muhammudu Buhari (retd).
George had said in an interview that he would proceed on exile if the APC wins at the federal level.

Speaking with Vanguard, on the PDP’s defeat at the polls, the PDP chieftain said “What will I be doing here? I can decide to go and live anywhere. Look at everyone surrounding him (Buhari).

Wide spread jubilation in Ibadan

There was wild jubilation in Ibadan Tuesday as residents in Sabo fired crackers to celebrate the victory of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidates.

At the time they were jublilating, INEC was yet to announce the results from three states of Bornu, Delta and Sokoto.

The crowd in their hundreds stormed the streets chanting “sai Buhari”.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) of the All Progressives Congress, APC  defeated the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to emerge the president-elect of Nigeria.

Buhari won Nigeria’s presidential election by 2.57 million votes, according to official results announced on Wednesday.
