Eight Political Parties Endorse Jimi Agbaje, PDP Candidate in Lagos

Ahead of the upcoming governorship election, eight political parties have endorsed Jimi Agbaje, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos.

According to Vanguard, the parties include the United Party of Nigeria (UPN), Alliance for Democracy, All Progressives Grand Alliance, Accord, and African Democratic Congress. Others are the Progressive Peoples Alliance, Democratic Peoples Party, National Conscience Party and Citizens Popular Party.

At a press conference held in Lagos on April 9, 2015, leaders of the parties announced that they would work rigorously for Agbaje’s emergence as governor of the state in Saturday’s election.
