The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, has dispatched a special crack squad to Edo to tackle the spate of cultism, kidnapping, robbery and other related crimes in the state.
Notice of the dispatch is contained in a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Emmanuel Ojukwu, on Wednesday. The statement quoted Ojukwu as expressing the concern of the I-G about the unabated activities of cultists and other violent criminals in the state.
