The Lagos State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Ikeja has fixed today to make a resolution whether to examine the preliminary objection filed by the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode against a petition which was filed by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Jimi Agbaje in the April 11 election challenging the governor’s victory.

Certificate Forgery: Court Nullifies PDP Rep-Elect Member's Election
An Abuja Federal High Court has nullified the candidacy of a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) member of the House of Representatives, Godwin Idu, who is representing Onitsha North/South Federal Constituency of Anambra State.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola ordered Idu to vacate his seat on Thursday, June 25, and cancelled the certificate of return which the Independent National Electoral Commission earlier issued to him as the winner of the March 28, 2015 election.
