EFCC Arrests Another Former PDP Gov, Dakingari

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly arrested Usman Dakingari, a former governor of Kebbi state over allegations that he laundered N3.8billion from the state.
Sahara Reporters reports that he was detained around 10a.m. at the EFCC headquarters and is currently undergoing interrogation at the hands of EFCC investigators.

The Committee on Ethics and Public Petitions may have advised a stay of action on Amaechi’s screening.

Daily Sun reports that the committee, which will officially present its report to the Senate tomorrow, made the recommendation based on the difficulty of his case.

Plot To Quash Saraki’s Code Of Conduct Trial At The Court of Appeal - LEAKED

The justices of the Court of Appeal in Abuja have concluded plans to order a stop to the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki by the Code of Conduct Tribunal, two judicial sources have told Chat212 FM Reporters. 

One of the sources disclosed that the appellate court justices would deliver a judgment as early as 2 p.m. today ordering immediate discontinuation of Mr. Saraki’s trial for corruption.
