The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Tuesday led members of the church to offer prayers for the release of the over 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram in April.

Adeboye also offered prayers for a quick divine intervention in the Ebola Virus Disease ravaging the West Africa sub-region as the 2014 RCCG Annual Convention got under way in Mowe, Ogun State.

Ebola: Consumption of bush meat reduces in Imo

Entertainment joints in parts of Imo State are now counting their financial loss, as people are no longer interested in consuming bush meat.
Some of the owners of the joints, who made the lamentation while assessing the effect of Ebola Virus scare on their business outfits.

“Since the nation’s health officials advised Nigerians against the consumption of bush meat, following the outbreak of Ebola disease, my take home has become abysmally low”, Oluchi, the owner of one eatery in Owerri lamented.

I butcher human beings in 2 minutes – Boko Haram chief killer

The Chief Butcher of the Boko Haram sect, Zakari Mohammed Ardo, yesterday, gave a chilling description of how the terrorist group used to slaughter people they capture, saying it only takes him two minutes to butcher victims and enemies condemned to death.

Ardo, who had been reported in some media (not Chat212) as having escaped from Police custody, said the group’s butchering committee was made up of five persons of which he is the chairman, pointing out that the other members will hold down the already tired victim while he cuts off the head.

Ebola now a national emergency – Health Minister

►FOLLOWING the death of the matron that was one of the primary contacts of the late American-Liberian, Mr. Patrick Sawyer, who died recently of Ebola Virus Disease, EVD, in Lagos, Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, has described the presence of Ebola in the country as a national emergency.
