Consumers want N750 fixed charge on electricity scrapped

Some Electricity Consumers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday called for the scrapping of the monthly N750 fixed charge being charged by electricity distribution companies.

The consumers told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that it would amount to exploitation if the companies continued to retain the charge when services were not delivered.

Housing/Vehicle Loans: Delta Disburses N3.4bn To 5,394 Civil Servants

The Delta State government yesterday said it has disbursed in the last 13 years a total of N1.551billion to 741 public servants as housing loans, while N1.877billion was disbursed to 4,653 public servants as vehicle loans under different cadre and salary grade levels.
