UAC of Nigeria Plc, seeking to recruit suitable qualified candidate to fill the position of Internal Auditor.

Location: Jos, Lagos - Nigeria

Reporting To: The Head, Internal Audit

Job Description:
Carry out audit of business units in accordance with internation Auditing Guidelines and UACN laid down accounting/auditing policies and procedures and thus form an audit opinion.
Make appropriate and practical recommendations to unit management on lapses noted during audit.
Carrry out special investigation/ad hoc assignments as may be required by management.
Assist management in the identification of risks inherent in the business and provide reasonable assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of control in place to minimize risks.

Requirement:
B.Sc Accounting/HND Accountancy in addition to a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ICMA, ACCA, CPA etc).
6 years post qualification working experience in a reputable manufacturing company.
Knowledge of risk and control environments will be essential.
