Our client is a leading group in West Africa with Aluminium & Steel rolling mills.

They are looking to fill the position of Operations Manager for their Aluminium Foundry. The incumbent will be responsible for the entire cast house.

The ideal candidate will be an engineer with minimum 15 years of Aluminium Foundry experience.

Qualification:

    Degree in Metallurgy / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

    Minimum 15 years of Aluminium Foundry experience.

    In depth process knowledge of Melting, slab casting, billet casting is essential.

    Experience in manpower, utilities & raw material management will be preferred.

Job Description

Overall responsibility of the Cast House with focus on the following:

    Production planning and manpower planning as per orders

    Material Management and inventory management according to the production planning for smooth running of the operation

    Raw material inspection

    Implementation of process parameters to achieve target quality and monitoring QC for Aluminium alloy system as per specified standard

    Generating and monitoring MIS for the monthly production.
