Our Client, an oil and Gas service firm located at Ikeja is urgently seeking the services of a qualified candidate for this position.
Job Vacancy - Administrative Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for day to day running of the business.
Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
Supervises the revision of rules, regulations, and procedures to meet changes in law and policy.
Supervise other members of staff in the discharge of their duties.
Supervises such management planning activities as job analysis, organization studies, workflow, and simplification of systems and procedures for warehouse, accounting and finance.
Ensure banking of daily sales and reconciling same with sales register at the end of the day.
Follow-up cheques payments and update record accordingly.
Ensure proper filling and arrangement of payment tellers and other documents relating to business transactions.
Handles office imprest and keep a cash book for it.
Ensure and follow-up maintenance, fuelling and repairs of company vehicles and generators.
Follow up with the Company suppliers and ensure that commissions are credited to Company?s accounts as required.
Keep up-to-date record of Company major customers and follow up on them to ensure no issues.
Follow up stock records and ensure prompt re-stocking of goods ? no out of stock issue.
Prepare monthly Stock position per product.
Prepare monthly Sales Summary per product.
Prepare monthly Purchase Summary per product.
Prepare monthly payroll for staff.
Monitor credit sales and provide debtors balance on enquiry by Managing Director.
Ensure compliance with Government legislations and payments as it relates to but not limited to advertisement, permit, vehicle registration/permits, tenement rate, etc…
Ensure prompt payment of PHCN and other relevant/necessary bills that can cause interruption of business if not paid. ? such payment must be discussed and agreed with the Managing Director before payment is made.
Carry out regular market survey on all products.
Give weekly report to the Managing Director.
Any other duty as may be assigned by the Managing Director.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess a minimum of HND in relevant discipline
