Position - Tax Compliance and Audit Manager
Job role
The successful candidate reports to the Tax Manager and will be responsible for the following:
Carry out the review of all tax returns – WHT, VAT, Excise duties, PAYE etc.
Carry out periodic review and reconciliation of financial results/General Ledgers to tax returns.
Monitor and implement of the Company’s Tax Control Framework.
Resolute on current/outstanding tax audit issues and assessments.
Identify and implement significant tax planning opportunities.

Job Required Candidate profile
Should not be older than 40 years as at January 1, 2013.
Should be a good team player.
Should have a ‘can do’ attitude to work and work with minimum supervision.
Should be able to communicate in English language fluently (written and oral) and have ability to negotiate.
Should be open to learning and development on tax related matters.
Must be able to work with computer systems (Microsoft Office suite).
Should have minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience as an Accountant or Tax Officer with a reputable Company.
Job Education level
Have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours Lower Division or Higher National Diploma with Upper Credit in any of the following areas: Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and related discipline.
Should provide evidence of participation in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme or exemption.
