Job Summary
Job Summary
Design, implement and review financial management policies, systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective accounting and finance processes.
Prepare annual budgets and financial projections.
Responsible for timely preparation of accurate management accounts and financial statements/reports.
Monitor the financial performance and cash flows, advice on matters arising and propose remedial measures where appropriate.
Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records
Qualifications and Skills
A degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or any related field
Six (6) years working experience in a similar position.
Experience especially in the media industry.
Proficiency in any of the automated accounting computer packages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent Initiative and problem solving skills.
Diplomacy and organisational abilities.
