- The successful candidate works under the direct supervision of the program Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Programme Accountant with a dotted line relationship to the Project Manager and the Operations Manager as regards scope and timing of activities so as to effectively manage funds.
- The successful candidate must be primarily responsible for the proper application of funds in accordance with RFH financial policies.
- Co-ordinate all financial aspects of the project from the award of contract to end of award and subsequent follow-up and work with the Research information Team to monitor research outcomes.
- He/She will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and sending of accurate financial reports to the Programme Accountant.
- He/She will also assist in budget analysis, implementation and monitoring.
- Manage existing projects by: tracking ouch projects, developing internal reporting systems writing reports: maintaining excellent historical records: providing trend analysis on a monthly basis: working with staff to ensure each project or program is meeting proposal conditions and expectations. Job Qualifications
- He/she must possess a first degree(B.Sc / HND) in Accounting.
- Must possess minimum of one year post-NYSC working experience.
- Must possess good knowledge of microsoft office especially excel.
