Job Title: Senior Project Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
Candidate would be accountable for the successful completion of Projects, must possess good Knowledge of Planning, Scheduling, Conducting and Coordinating Projects.
Also, should be able to interface with Project Stakeholders including Client and Contract Technical and Project Teams.
Responsibilities
Engineering/Procurement/Construction/Commissioning interfaces: physical, logistical, informational, Organizational and any other internal to project/operations issues.
Coordination of interfaces relating to the design and construction.
Assist with set-up and further Company administration of the Project Interface Management System (PIMS).
Expediting Interface action close out.
Coordinate and chair weekly Interface Meetings with Contractors, participate in Monthly Project Interface Management Review.
Formal weekly interface status reporting to Project Manger.
Identify the need for and to ensure appropriate reviews and audits are implemented to support assurance of interface management performance.
Participates in Projects meetings & acting as the Interface champion for the interface management system.
Work with all project groups to identify interfaces, preparation and update of interface documents.
Work with the Project engineers discipline leads, management and EPC contractors in relation to interface management.
Qualification, Experience and Skill
B.Eng. in any Engineering discipline.
7 years minimum, 5 of which must be in Oil & Gas Projects.
Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
