Job Purpose
Assist in handling legal affairs of the organization and working with other legal staff to address the internal and external legal concerns of the business.
Other responsibilities include:
► Drafting of contractual agreements
► Review contracts and recommend amendments
► Carry out research and provide legal opinion
► Liaise with regulatory bodies on legal matters
► Ensuring compliance with all legal matters
► Representing the company in court and monitoring the development on cases
► Collating evidence in respect of matters and ensuring the attendance of witnesses in court
► Liaising with external solicitors to prosecute court cases
► Respond to complaints from customers solicitors
► Resolution of disputes via alternative dispute resolution where feasible
► Other duties as assigned by Head of Legal.
The Job Qualifications
Bachelors of Laws (LLB) and Barrister at Law (B.L)
Required Skulls and Competences
► Good knowledge of Nigerian law especially Aviation Law
► Knowledge of legal analysis and investigation
► Strong written and Oral Communication skill
► Good interpersonal skill
Experiences
Minimum of three (3) years cognate experience in litigation, understanding of commercial transactions, drafting and analysis of contracts.
Job Condition
► Travelling is sometimes a requirement
► May work long hours
