Kogi State Governor Idris Wada Saturday directed all the 21 Local Government Chairmen in the state to begin immediate full payment of salary to their workers without further delay.

shortfall in statutory allocation and over-bloated work force by the state local government service commission.
Chat212 was also informed that some of the council workers especially those in Kabba/Bunu council are being owed over nine months’ salary, while workers in some other councils have had to do with as low as 20 per cent salary payment.
Governor Wada gave the directive in Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area, during a thank-you visit to the people of the area, and unveiled some completed projects embarked upon by the council and the state government.
