PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, described the Chairman, Board of Trustees, BoT of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Tony Anenih as one of Nigeria’s highly respected political icons ever produced in the country, just as he said that they will eternally remain grateful to him.

leadership qualities, stressed that he had remained an icon over the years against the backdrop of his “uncommon leadership qualities, courage, forthrightness, and evident faith in the peace, unity, progress, and prosperity of our dear nation.”
The President, who felicitated with the BoT Chair on behalf of his family, the government and people of Nigeria, further affirmed in the letter that he (Anenih) had contributed untiringly to the success of the PDP administration in the country.
President Jonathan said, “You have constantly given of yourself unstintingly in support of our Administration and in patriotic service to the Fatherland,” adding that, “For this, we remain eternally thankful.”
