Poise and Etiquette - Our client is looking for a Project Officer to join their ever growing business.

Job Title: Project Officer

Job Description:

►The successful candidate will work under the Project Manager and assist him with all activities.

►Candidates should have between 1-3 years experience in managing projects in the construction industry.

►The candidate must posses an HSE certificate

►A degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Role

►The ideal candidate will be a key member of the project team responsible for coordination and implementation of projects with varying sizes and complexities.

►Responsible for directing, organising and controlling project activities, under the direction of the Project Engineer / Manager

►Manage suppliers and contractors to achieve and demonstrate the required performance within the agreed timescale. Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades

►Support the negotiation with regulatory bodies, local authorities, utility suppliers and other external bodies to achieve the desired outcome.

►Initiate, participate in, and co-ordinate internal and external cross- functional project team to identify and adopt best practice to deliver agreed objectives.

►Encouraging local ownership, including provision of training.

►Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team.
