Human Resource Associates is recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: Field Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Qualiication Requirement

B.Engr / B-Tech, HND Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline.

Ability to operate independently using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)

Expectations

Represent the company in an honest and business like manner, maximizing customer contact and seeking to deliver world class project selling services to the engineering contractor market.

Maximise servicing opportunities for all products within defined scope of responsibility(on and off site).

Positively engage with appropriate personnel from within the manufacturing and marketing organisations, encouraging them to participate and support the sales effort.

Participate in negotiating project terms, conditions and pricing such that these are as favourable as possible in line with financial objectives of the company.

Provide regular updates and feedback on active projects using the company project tracking tools.

Ability to consult with relevant engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.

Provide quality input to supervise, testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance.

Provide advisory inputs to management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.

Other Requirements

A proven field service experience (not less than 5 years) in a high profile project environment, demonstrating a capability and willingness to influence customer specifications will be an added advantage.

Direct experience of field service within a multi-product line engineering business.

Strong presence with good communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to deal confidently at all levels.

Strong analytical skill is also an added advantage.

Flexible and resourceful in a dynamic business environment

Must be self motivated and prepared to take hands on approach.

Must not be less than 30 year of age.
